hey there:

Hello! Thought I'd give a quick little update from Line x Shape x Colour HQ. Andy and I (plus my sister and her man) are leaving on a jet plane this weekend, bound for the island of Sumatra in Indonesia for two weeks. Am I excited? Yep!
The guys will be surfing some of the best waves in the world, while Sarah and I will be chilling up in the mountains, trekking in the jungles and keeping an eye out for some Orangutans. We'll also be hopping over to the island of Penang in Malaysia, to eat some of, if not the, very best Asian hawker food in the world. It's going to be a lot of fun!
I won't have the Macbook with me whilst travelling, so there'll be no blogging until we get back unfortunately. However, I will be taking tonne of photos and posting like crazy once we return - so please do check back in a few weeks time.

I will have my iPhone though, and I'll be instagramming whenever I can. You can follow me by searching for the user lineshapecolour.

Also, I have finally succumbed and joined Pinterest! Wow, talk about addictive!

So that's the latest for now.

Oh and remember when I said I would do post all on my travel packing? Well seems as I am about to pack, I will be doing it for real this time!

Are any of you on instagram and/or Pinterest (that I'm not already following)? Would love to hear from you.

berowra waters inn:

Two weeks ago, Andy and I celebrated our three year wedding anniversary. It's crazy how fast it has gone! We returned to where it all began, the stunning Berowra Waters Inn - where we were married and celebrated our special day. Located on the Hawkeusbury River  and accesible by boat or sea plane only, the inn was originally designed by renowned architect Glenn Murcutt, with a new fit-out completed by Australian design duo Koskela a few years ago. One of Sydney's top restaurants, it is hand down in one of the most beautiful locations and one of the many reasons we picked it for our special day. Below are some snaps of our time spent here recently, including some highlights from the nine courses of exquisite food we enjoyed. I highly recommend visiting Berowra Waters Inn for that special occasion or if you happen to be visiting Sydney. It really is an extraordinary place.

the school:

Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to be invited to launch of stylist extraordinaire Megan Morton's 'the School', a studio dedicated to classes on styling and all things creative. For the very first class, Holly Hipwell of the Flower Drum taught us all to make beautiful flower bombs. So much fun! Go check out the new School website - I can't wait to return and get all creative with my mum and sister in particular (as you know they're a bit crafty too!).
